Ulud is an easygoing druid tortle, he was born in a forest of the Sleeping Beast Peaks west of Dalanis and lived most of his early life learning about the nature as a hermit.
Sometime after, he went to a nearby city called Noyver’s Hollow, mainly populated by Halflings, where he slowly but surely, began to write about the things he understood, as he noticed they didn't had a written language, but he wanted their teachings to not go to waste.
This is also where he met an unnamed old female halfing that taught him how to speak their language. At the time he wasn't sure if this woman was going to be of importance.
